The Mystery of America’s Earth Mounds
Rev. Cynthia Greb

Did you know there are thousands of earth mounds in this country? What are they?  Why were they built? And most of them are between 1000 and 2000 years old.

Why don’t we learn about these incredible structures in school? Our history classes all begin with a certain European explorer accidentally stumbling upon our continent, when there was already a multitude of people, cultures, and traditions on this soil. Perhaps we should know a bit about them!

In this seminar, you will be introduced to the different kinds of mounds found throughout the Midwest and the South. Some are singular, some are in clusters, and sometimes there is evidence of large ancient cities like Cahokia in Illinois and Moundville in Alabama. Other mounds are in the shapes of animals or even, in one case, possibly an alien.

Who built them, and why?

And why were most of them mysteriously abandoned around 1500 AD?

This will be part I of a 3-part series. Stay tuned for explorations of sacred Mt. Shasta, stories of extra-and-intraterrestrial beings, and invitations to honor the spirits of those who died—particularly Native Americans.

Cynthia Greb has recently returned from a 6 month journey around the USA, exploring earth mounds and offering prayers at ancient sacred sites. Although she grew up in Bucks County, Cynthia spent 20 years living in and traveling throughout the West and Southwest (and a bit in the UK and Brazil.) Those adventures introduced her to many people, traditions, and experiences which have greatly informed her life.

She has a background in the healing arts and in hospice, but her current passions lie with advocating for Native Americans, as well as protecting the Earth’s ecosystems and the creatures who are tumbling toward extinction. She is a writer, an inspirational speaker, an interfaith minister, and president of the board of Arrows for American Indians. You can find out more by visiting her website www.soulofcynthia.com or her YouTube channel.

Testimonials

“I’ve seen Cynthia Greb mesmerize a crowd with her passion and purpose for the last 35 years.  She lives her life in an entirely spirit-guided way, manifesting truly remarkable experiences and travels, all done without a safety net.  She cares about our planet, and the marginalized traditional peoples from whom we have so much to learn about how to respect Mother Gaia.

From Wales to Brazil to the American Southwest and the American Northwest, she has dedicated her life to living among and learning from those whose wisdom we material-obsessed folks so sorely need to connect with.  Cindy literally shines!  Everyone who has had the pleasure of hearing and seeing her comes away grateful for the experience.

Like the traveling mystics in older times in Russia or in present times in India, Cindy has foregone the security of material abundance for her spirit-driven quest for the highest truths.  Cynthia Greb is, in short, the real deal, and a treat for anyone who encounters her.” ~ Rev. Dave Perkins, council member at Pebble Hill Church. Doylestown, PA

“Cindy’s presentation inspired me. She is a font of wisdom, of knowledge—some of it I think she came into the world with, but she educated herself. She’s a lifelong learner. Cindy is one of those people that make me grateful to be alive in these times because she makes such a difference in the world.”  ~Edie Weinstein, writer, counselor, interfaith minister

“I highly recommend Cynthia Greb! Cynthia has given two lectures to my group. In the 13 years I have been engaging speakers on a monthly basis, her presentation on Earth Mounds and Sacred Sites throughout the US was one of the best.  She uses photos from her personal journeys to give educational information and fascinating details about each place.  I have learned a lot from Cynthia and I am grateful for her extensive experience and knowledge!  She is an excellent presenter.  I give her 5 stars!”  ~Connie Bell-Dixon, Founder of Landsdale/Philly Psychic Development Group

“She is a spiritual leader, honoring sacred places where Native Americans suffered mind-numbing massacres. She has an active website documenting her self-guided mission: soulofcynthia.com. Her name: Cynthia Greb. Not one word can describe her journey other than holy.” ~Mason Loika, reporter, writer, from his blog on www.masonloika.com

“Your leadership qualities as expressed through light, love, and compassion shine through beautifully.”   ~ Randi Suskin, life coach, teacher of A Course in Miracles

“I just want to tell you that your smile and your energy and your positive vibes are just so energizing! What a beautiful, beautiful service, and you as Master of Ceremonies just smiling and showing so much love and positivity was beautiful. You guided the service like a NYC morning talk show host. You smiled graciously throughout and so naturally exuded happiness to be there!”  ~Patricia Gallagher, author, member of Circle of Miracles, “the Flower Lady”

“I have thoroughly benefited from every presentation or ritual I have experienced with Rev. Cindy Greb.  Cindy brings to every encounter her deep spirituality, her lifelong experience of the Divine, and her love for the world. Her presentations are organized, fascinating, and supported with media, such as photography and video.  She has a kind and gracious speaking style and is happy to engage in discussion and to respond to audience questions and comments.  Cindy is a longtime member of Pebble Hill Interfaith Church where I also work to put our Sunday celebrations together, and I always look forward to her participation in these.  She is loved and greatly respected in our community.” ~ Rev. Rosalind Horton Cauffman

“Cindy is one of our best speakers. In her last talk, she really knocked it out of the ball park!”  ~Bill O’Donnell, producer of ‘Spirituality TV’ and member of The Celebration in Santa Fe, NM
